Why is my intelligence and willpower red

You can get cured praying in the Temple. Omgwtfbbqkitten View Profile View Posts. You can either use potions that restore your attributes or you can use spells.

You can buy restore intelligence from Ohtesse at the chapel in Cheydinhal, and restore Willpower from Tumindil in the Chapel in Skingrad. There is a restore for all attributes and they can all be purchased. What I like to do is buy one of them to gain the ability to make custom spells at a spellmaking altar. You need access to the Arcane University in order to make custom spells, but I suggest making a spell for each attribute that restores 3 points for seconds. Having those spells is very useful, especially restore strength.

I even took a cure disease potion to see if that would help. No drinking or playing with strange things. Psn: uprrslo. User Info: KamikaziCat. Do you use armor or weapons that are enchanted to take away those stats? Im not wearing pants today, its too hot that's what i say.

My stats are now green. My speed is now red and I am using enchanted armor but when I checked them, nothing is listed about sapped speed. User Info: Alilatias. Well, uh That's the problem. Stats that are semi-permanently damaged by 'Damage [attribute]' effects do not show up in the active effects page.

Heck, that's the only thing that does not show up in the active effects page most likely because they do not have a predefined duration, hence the semi-permanently part. Going to a chapel should fix it. If you have a bounty, drinking or casting Restore [attribute] potions or spells should work too. Assuming that you have Shivering Isles and completed the main quest, I think there is a healer that shows up in the throne room that can cure you of just about everything instantly. Yeah, not very nice.

Oh, one more thing. TC: Watch out for Will-o-Wisps. Will-o-Wisps like to damage your Willpower and Intelligence. Usually, they're the only enemies in the game that can directly damage your attributes, unless you are unlucky enough to run into an enemy with an enchanted weapon or poison that does the same thing for other attributes which is what I'm assuming happened with the other guy's Speed. In that case, then Watch out for Dremora with enchanted weapons, because the vast majority of their enchanted weapons directly damage your stats with each strike , which has the potential for massive attribute damage stackage.

After I ranked up, I chose to level up my intel again. Now, when I take off that ring, I have no damage to my level. It's not red. I don't think that's a fix for perma enchanting, because according to the wiki: wiki wrote: Using the glitches detailed here, the effect is truly permanent: there is no way other than Console commands to get rid of it. Re: Why is my Intell and Willpower Red? I always carry potions that'll restore each type of stat cos it is annoying to see the red number on your attributes.

What I don't understand is why you can find strong potions of strength for example which heal 20 points, when you never lose more than 2 or 3 points in an encounter, and you're unlikely to let any stats stay damaged for long anyway.

And damage stat poisons made with alchemy might do 1 point of damage for 8 seconds, say. So if you're going to pick on someone and bother to poison them enough to really damage their stats like put their strength to zero and freeze them to the spot , you need to hit them up to 10 times over a second period.

I don't usually let fights last that long when I'm at the level where I have these potions available. The whole damage stat thing seems a bit of a waste of time, really.

It's underpowered so is just irritating in the end. Maybe they could increase the damage done by this sort of attack and simply allow stats to recover over time, like magica. What I miss about th MW custom spell system is you could make a spell that restored all of your stats at the same time. It was something I always did with my characters as a matter of course to avoid this irritation.
