This might be a glitch as lots of people seem to be having this problem, contact EA to see if they can fix it.
However, I am on level 27, I can see the toaster in my home store, I can also see that it is locked and not available until level Can you post a picture of the chopping block? Do I need to complete a set before I can access the chopping block those rare items are difficult?

I have opened the restaurant and started repairing, however not all the restaurant can be repaired. I really need to compels this to get the toddlers quest so my baby sims can grow up, please help!!!!

I had problems with this quest as well so I tried to bake something instead of cooking a meal like the quest has asked and it works that way. Hope this helps. When I try to cook the cheese and tomato on toast, it does not let me. I am having the same problem with trying to cook the cheese and tomato toast.
Not sure what to do to be able to complete this task. I am on level 26 and only have one of the toasters. It says I have to wait until level 34 until I can get the next toaster. I have the toaster that cost simoleans and is one star.
Do you get the toaster when you start the quest? I am not at the quest yet, I was just looking ahead to get an idea of what will be coming. Maybe they did that when they took away the quest and kept it for a later time for those people too because I am passed level 7 and have not had the quest yet.

Thanks, what is the cooking collection? I completed Bread Winner Quest and then the cooking selection appeared, I started it then purchased 2 star toaster, 2 star microwave, and stuck trying to find the chopping board. You must complete the entire collection in order to get the chopping board.
Once you complete the collection, then you can try to look for the chopping boards. I completed the cooking hobby more than four times. I am in LOVE with the cooking hobby.

A quick question though. Is it not possible for a sim to have more than one hobby? I tried having my level 6 cooking sim do the salsa hobby but it says the sim will forget the cooking lessons. How do I go about this? Every time I go to cook something my game freezes and shuts me out. I click on the TV and there is no option for the cooking show? Is there another way or are my sims stuck eating leftovers forever?
Then there will be piles of plates with black rings around them which you will have to clean up over and over again before you will get rid of that pile. What do I do? You can cook something else, that will give you more plates but if you use the same sim you will still be able to make burgers. There is no way to get rid of them fast unfortunately, you just have to clean up each one at a time. I have a room with 10 stoves, 1 toaster in the corner so that I only need one, and 10 sinks.
Is there a work around? Would switching hobbies and switching back to cooking help at all? Yes I definitely recommend switching to a different hobby then back again as they will get the rewards for levelling up again they will earn 1LP when they reach level 6 again. Unfortunately you just have to keep going, you will get it eventually, some just take longer to find than others.
I went ahead and kept track just to see, and not accounting for the initial costs of cooking it adds up to 4, simoleans. I have used your cooking hobby strategy to get lps, and it is very effective. I mostly just used them to speed up quests and hobby events but there are a few nice LP houses! Do you have any suggestions? If i cook in a neighbors town and dont clean up the dishes, will they still be there when i leave and re enter their town?
