From: Solis And thus, any possibility for strategy or communication between players on Xbox Live was quickly snuffed out. From: Thermador warior55 posted Yes it is true, and you referring to cross game chat. And its mostly because its not that important. I think its pretty damn important, but thats just me Talking to people that you are not playing a game with is not that important.

From: VincentKrypt Why do people want to chat with other people playing different games so badly? From: lubmelubyou It is nice to have party chat, or even just private chat because sometimes you just want to play your game while talking to your mates, maybe you can help a mate out if they are stuck on a bit you have done before, or just chat in general.

Party chat is an excellent feature and PS3 would benefit greatly if it had it. From: Solis The issue is that your group will almost never be the whole team, unless you exclusively play games that only allow as many players per team as however many are in your party at that moment which is unlikely, since I doubt you always have 8 people in your party at all times and all of them are playing the same game you are, not to mention there are several games which support more than 8 players per team.

I'm not trying to troll but this is something I genuinely never understood. Why do people want to chat with other people playing different games so badly? How can you pay attention to what you're doing when you chatting it up with someone playing a completely different game?

I just don't see why this is so important to some people. I'm not against it being added at all, if that's what the majority wants. I just don't see the big deal with it.

I know the pieces fit cos I watched them fall away Good one bro!!! Warning: I have a different views about stuff so try not to get worked up. User Info: riddlebox VincentKrypt posted I am the true originator of the Cookie Demon theory on the SH2 and 3 boards.
